Toronto Wedding Officiants
After hosting weddings on ships in the Toronto
Harbour since 1991, I have organized and watched many couples
have their ceremony on board boats (including my own!!!!)
Boats in the Toronto Harbour offer a different venue from
the regular banquet hall and can provide an atmosphere of
elegant casualness as you are married among the Toronto Island
Lagoons or while under sail with the roar of our canons as
you seal your vows with a kiss.
Contrary to popular belief, Captains in local
waters cannot legally marry you. However they can assist with
your service if you would like this added touch.
To marry you on one of our ships, we need
a wedding official… And we at Nautical Adventures
have a list of qualified men and women who are willing to
marry you on board. Whether you are having a non-religious
ceremony, a same-sex union, or a traditional service we can
help you find the right person. Of course, if you have your
own official that's fine too.
And if the officiant can't stay for the duration
of your cruise, that's okay too. We can send them on their
way on a water taxi!
