WEDDING CEREMONY
Nautical Adventures offers Wedding
Ceremonies aboard the tall ship Empire Sandy and our
motor vessel Wayward Princess. Ceremonies are offered
dockside, or while sailing on Lake Ontario, through the scenic
Island Lagoons, or with the backdrop of Toronto’s spectacular
skyline.
Wedding Ceremonies are included with the
purchase of any of our Wedding Packages; although you must
coordinate your own officiate/minister. We would be happy
to prepare a list of our contacts for officiates and ministers.
All of our wedding packages include: seating
for ceremony, podium, ships DJ to co-ordinate the music, a
Wedding Co-Coordinator, table/chairs for registration and
signing of the marriage documents.
Please let us know if you have a vision in
mind for your ceremony. Additional ceremonial décor
and extras can be arranged for an additional charge. We can
offer pedestals/urns for flowers, red carpet for the aisle,
chair covers, musicians and much more.
The “Nautical Wedding Package”
and the “Wedding Cruise with Grand Buffet Package”
includes a Wedding Arch with seasonal commercial flowers of
your choice. A Wedding Arch can be secured to the ship for
a ceremony on the water. We can also offer a variety of substitutes
for a dockside ceremony.
Our Wedding Cruise Co-Coordinators have many
years of experience planning Weddings and will assist you
from the beginning to end of your Wedding Day. The Wedding
Cruise Co-Coordinator will meet with you prior to the event
to determine the formation of the ceremony, and co-ordinate
the ceremony on your Special Day.
DOCKSIDE CEREMONY
A dockside ceremony aboard the Empire Sandy
is located at the foot of Spadina and Queen’s Quay. The
Spadina Pier would be the focal point of the ceremony and
the aisle for the Bride’s entrance. A dockside ceremony
allows for guests to leave the ship, prior to sailing.
We can accommodate a ceremony for up to 275
people aboard the Empire Sandy. Seating can be arranged on
the pier for a maximum of 30 people. Other guests would enjoy
the ceremony from the port side of the Ship.
CEREMONY ON THE WATER
Wedding Ceremonies on the water are offered
aboard the Empire Sandy and the Wayward Princess. Water taxi’s
can be pre-arranged to pick up guests who wish to leave prior
to your scheduled return aboard the Wayward Princess.
The Empire Sandy offers a ceremony mid ship
for up to 125 people.
The Wayward Princess offers a ceremony on
the third deck for up to 110 seated people.
